Was your childhood dream to get to Mars or space?
We're sorry we can't help you with that but we can definitely help you get your name to reach mars from NASA.
Yes, you read it right, now you can send your name to MARS absolutely for free. This is basically a marketing stunt done by NASA in order to increase awareness among the people and create a sort of attachment to it.
As of now, there is a total of 20247837 reservations to get their name to MARS with the MARS rover that will fly from Cape Canaveral, Air Force Station Earth and will be landing at Jezero Crater, Mars.
All you need to do is get to this website and register yourself with First name, Last Name, Location, Postal Code, and email ID.
Here's the website : https://mars.nasa.gov/participate/send-your-name/future
After getting to the link you have to click on "Signup for the next flight"
Then fill out the necessary details and hit on "Send my name to Mars".
As soon as you hit on "Send my name to Mars" a boarding pass will be generated which is a sort of your ticket to Mars for your name.
I found this program way back but was unable to post about this, so this is the boarding pass that I registered by my name.
Now if you click on "Frequent Flyer" on the top and fill in the necessary details then you will get a point collector which shows your point if you've earlier flown with this program, The Frequent Flyer program started with the Orion first test flight in 2014. So if you knew about this earlier you should have more points that are just hypothetical.
Why did I receive a "No Fly" message?
You might get a "No Fly" message. Some submissions trigger filters which block certain words or phrases from being submitted. The "No Fly" message is a result of one of these filters being activated. If you believe this is an error, you can click here and they can work to examine what may have caused the issue.
