Heard of Glass morphism but don't know how to make it?
Well, Tech Aficionado brings you an en easy way to make Glass morphism effects in a few steps. Recently, Glassmorphism has become a very trendy design and looks dope in UI/UX animations but it is not limited to only UI/UX it does look great on motion banners and flyers too.
Let's do it.
Open your image on which you want to add the Glassmorphism effect. An honest suggestion, use an image that has different color as the Glassmorphism effect just stands out when there are plenty of colors in the background. It would be perfect if you use a picture of something real.
Select Rectangle tool white in color ( Colour code - #000000)and make it to the shape you want the glass to look like. Again a suggestion looks best with a rectangle with curved edges.
Now while holding control, click on the "Rectangle layer" on the "Layers Panel" to select the rectangle layer.
Select the layer having your image as the background and then go to "Filter"<"Blur"<"Gaussian Blur", select the appropriate blur value, I suggest going for 6.5 pixels.
Now double click on the rectangle shape layer and Make the fill to 0%.
In the same blending options, click on stroke and make a stroke of 2px or whatever suits your design, and choose a gradient for the stroke. The gradient should be a white color with faded white color.
Then add the gradient overlays with the same color as of strokes and change the settings as shown. Hit OK and you're done
