Open your workbook consisting of the date.

2. Select all the cells consisting of Date by pressing "Ctrl" and left click.

3. Right-click and choose "Format Cells".

4. Then from the location dropdown, choose the UK for setting the date in DD/MM/YYYY format.

5. Hit "OK" and your format has now been changed from "MM/DD/YYYY" to "DD/MM/YYYY".

6. Just above location you can also select the type of date you want to display.
